⇒ About Me

↠ Professional

I decided to pursue Mechanical Engineering because it had a safety net in terms of job security. I can try any career I want but if I find that I do not like that field, I can always fall back to engineering.

I have developed many transferrable skills working as a Graphic Designer at a printing company, a maintenance technician at Canada's Wonderland, and an Intern at an Electrical Engineering Firm in Markham over the summers. My most recent position was at a beverage manufacturing plant as a project coordinator turned production planner. It is here where I was introduced and developed an interest in project management.

Currently, I am looking for the next opportunity in my professional career.

↠ Hobbies and Interests

I have always loved drawing and illustration growing up. My mom taught me how to draw and it was a fun hobby until high school. I then stopped drawing because I thought it didn't go hand in hand with Mechanical Engineering which was actually far from the truth.

I was introduced to digital illustration through my job at Metro Cresting Inc. I learned to edit digital logos on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for production orders. I rekindled my passion and started drawing again.

I recently opened an ETSY shop for custom patches I designed.

I recently started running last year. Until this point, I had not ran since highschool. I signed up for the Toronto Half Marathon in May 2023 and started training in March. I then ran the Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon in October!

I found this article online and have decided that this is my goal. I started in Ontario in 2023 at the age to 25 so I will finish when I am 35. Wish me luck!
